Historical Changes and Trends of Development in the Dialect of  Kamenitsa – quarter of the town of Velingrad

(Summary)

          In the article are analyzed the old Bulgarian dialectal system and the contemporary one of the old-time village Kamenitsa. Through the comparison the characteristic features of that Rhodopean dialect are outlined as well as its specific place among the rest of the Bulgarian dialects.

          On the one hand the development that the dialect has undergone as a result of intrinsic causes is traced back and on the other – the trends and changes influenced by the literary language are pointed out. The conclusion is that the old-time o-dialect has gradually been replaced by the ъ-pronunciation which dominates now and characterizes the speech of the middle and young generations of Kamenitsa.

В статията се прави най-общо диахронно сравнение на старобългарската и съвременната диалектна система на кв. Каменица – Велинград, което дава възможност да се открои спецификата на този родопски говор и да се очертае неговото място сред останалите български говори. Проследено е развитието, което диалектът е претърпял през столетията в резултат на предимно вътрешноразвойни тенденции, а днес главно под влияние на книжовния език. Като резултат на устойчиви тенденции в този някогашен о-говор постепенно се налага ъ-изговорът, който вече характеризира речта на средната и млада генерация каменчани.
